About The Owners

​​​We’re Brent and Amy Fosner, parents to three little ones and proud East Nashville locals since 2018. Like so many families here, we moved to this neighborhood to put down roots and raise our kids in this vibrant community. 

 

Aside from work, much of our time is spent with our kiddos - figuring out what makes each of them light up, how they feel most loved, and watching their personalities unfold in the funniest, sweetest ways. It’s messy and beautiful, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

 

Somewhere in the middle of the chaos, we learned how hard it is to find childcare that feels right - the kind of place you’d actually want to drop your own kids off at every day. After years on waitlists and late-night conversations, we decided to build it ourselves.

 

Little Schoolhouse grew out of that dream - to create a space that’s warm, safe, and full of heart. A place that feels like home, where kids can explore, be themselves, and know they’re loved every step of the way.
